Mogolympics Entry - Equestrian

The ninth and final event of the Mogolympics was the equestrian competition. The rules of this competition were: Build an outfit to compliment one of the horse mounts in the game.  (Faction limitations apply, so no Orcs on a Stormwind pony)

I chose to go with the whole Stormwind Guard style mog (dressed up a bit of course) to go along with the Swift Alliance Steed.

I had a blast participating, reading the event commentaries, and ultimately getting to see some phenomenal outfits.

Mogolympics Entry - Freestyle

The eighth event of the Mogolympics was the Freestyle event. The rules of the Freestyle competition were: Build your own NPC. Could be an innkeeper, could be the Green Orc Lantern.  Doesn’t matter.

I chose to make a mean, wicked witch style npc. Sure, she'll give you a delicious looking apple...but do you really think you should eat it?

Mogolympics Entry - Fencing

The seventh event of the Mogolympics was the fencing competition. The rules of this event were: Time for swordplay. Build your best outfit around the 1h sword of your choice.

Mogolympics Entry - Javelin

The sixth event of the Mogolympics was the Javelin competition. The rules of this competition were: Build an outfit around the polearm of your choice.

This competition had some phenominal entries, all of which can be seen right here: Mogolympics - Javelin Recap.

I chose to build my outfit around Halberd of Desolation, the polearm that drops off of the very first boss in Black Temple. This was my personal favorite of all the outfits that I submitted for the Mogolympics. Similar to the wresting event, I missed the podium again by literally just a hair (1 point...heh).

The fifth Mogolympics event was the Archery event. The rules of this competition were to: Build an outfit around your favourite bow.

Mogolympics Entry - Wrestling

The fourth event of the Mogolympics was wrestling and the winners have been chosen! The wresting competition rules were: "We’re going to deviate from olympic wrestling and go to the sports entertainment aspect instead.  Using one of the “championship” belts, design your own Azerothian pro wrestler.  Think of the oversized belts, such as the Firemend Cinch seen here."

My entry came in the top five, and was literally a sneeze away from the Bronze medal for this competition. This was my entry:

Mogolympics Entry - Discus

The third event in the Mogolympics was the discus competition. The rules of this challenge were to build an outfit around one of the shield skins here.

Mogolympics Entry - Hammer Throw

The second Mogolympics competition was the Hammer Throw. The rules of this competition: Build an outfit around your favourite two-handed hammer.

Results of this competition can be seen right on JD's blog here: Mogolympics - Hammer Throw Live! There were some absolutely phenomenal entries, and the contest was very close. (Again, not envious of the poor judges...) I was ecstatic to find out that my entry actually won the gold for this competition. :)

Mogolympics Entry - Cycling

For anyone in the dark, JD of Amateur Azerothian is hosting a fun transmog contest called the Transmogolympics. The first two competition event results are in, and the entrants are now free to post their outfits if they choose. (I represented Undercity in this competition. My flagbearer can be seen on my other blog here: Mogolympics, Representin' Undercity.)

The first competition was the Cycling event. The rules: Build a biker outfit to compliment the Chopper.  It must be either Leather or Mail.

Results of this competition can be seen on Tome of the Ancients' blog here: Mogolympics Results Round One - Cycling. There were some great outfits that people put together, and quite a few of them! I don't envy the judges one bit.
