For my next few "Moggin' with Tabards" posts I'll be focusing on Transmogging outfits around the Order of the Cloud Serpent Tabard. This tabard can be purchased for 10 gold from San Redscale once reaching exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent. (Interestingly, you may also notice that the flavor text on this tabard is a quote straight out of Star Wars.)

I love the colors on this particular tabard, it really is quite gorgeous. Unfortunately when it's paired up with any old gear it just doesn't work - at all. Paired up with some pieces of similar color though, oo la la - it can actually be shown off!

The gear shown below is all fairly easy to aquire as well, minus the shoulders which really rely on having a little bit of good luck. There are some other more easily obtainable shoulders that would look very nice with this mog though; I've listed them further down in this post.

Disciple of Har'koa - The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest!

JD is at it again with another transmog competition. This one is called The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest! Check out the details over at his blog here.

For the first round, the rules were to "Design a Disciple of Har’koa.  Not the funky folk that have her chained, but use her as inspiration for your toon were that it were a follower of said Spirit." (See screenshot toward bottom of post.)

Mogolympics Entry - Equestrian

The ninth and final event of the Mogolympics was the equestrian competition. The rules of this competition were: Build an outfit to compliment one of the horse mounts in the game.  (Faction limitations apply, so no Orcs on a Stormwind pony)

Like all of the previous events, there were some really amazing outfits. The results can be seen here: Mogolympics Equestrian Results.

I chose to go with the whole Stormwind Guard style mog (dressed up a bit of course) to go along with the Swift Alliance Steed.

The Closing Ceremonies for the 2012 Mogolymic Games have also been posted. You can see the winners here: Mogolympics - Closing Ceremonies. I'd like to say a big congratulations to all of the winners, and a MASSIVE thank you to the judges who clearly put a LOT of time into making all of this happen! I had a blast participating, reading the event commentaries, and ultimately getting to see some phenomenal outfits.

Mogolympics Entry - Wrestling

The fourth event of the Mogolympics was wrestling and the winners have been chosen! The wresting competition rules were: "We’re going to deviate from olympic wrestling and go to the sports entertainment aspect instead.  Using one of the “championship” belts, design your own Azerothian pro wrestler.  Think of the oversized belts, such as the Firemend Cinch seen here."

As in the previous three competitions, there was some really great entries and the commentary was very well-done. The results of the competition can be seen here: Mogolympics - Wrestling. 

My entry came in the top five, and was literally a sneeze away from the Bronze medal for this competition. This was my entry:
