Build an Amateur - The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest

Round three of JD's Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest was a little different. Here is what he asked us to do: "In order to make the final two you’re going to pretend your part of the Blizzard development team.  You’re going to design an NPC of me.  Any race you want, however you see fit.  All I’m going to ask is you include a brief description of the character so that I know what you were aiming to achieve."

I probably went through about 20 different outfits for this particular round, and I had the hardest time landing on a race. By the time I finally decided what I was going to submit I ended up with a brief description of the character looking something like this:

"I figured goblin suited you because they seem a little shifty to me (something shifty only seemed to fit given the evil nature of this round). So anyway I figured being pretty much the king of transmog contests that your npc should be dressed good, so I totally pimped him out. This goblin is stylin’ and ready to judge some outfits! Oh, and to add a little bit of badassness to the look (cause we all know your a little badass) I threw in some brass knuckles so nobody would mess with ya!"

Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat) - Alternative Mog for The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest

Ok, just one more Mortal Kombat mog before I post my goblin from round 3 of The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest...

This transmog was based on Sub-Zero. I had a really hard time choosing between this one and Scorpion for round two. I ultimately ended up choosing Scorpion because I liked the tabard I used with that outfit more than this one. The results of round two can be seen here: The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest - Round Two "FIGHT"

Jade (Mortal Kombat) - Alternative Mog for The Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest

This was one of the many transmogs that I rejected for the Mortal Kombat round of JD's Amazing Transmog Survivor Contest. Ultimately I figured some of the other contestants would pick this character, so I chose Scorpion instead. It turns out I was wrong though. Not only did nobody pick her, there was also another Scorpion - d'oh!

This round we needed to create a Transmog based on a character from Mortal Kombat. JD's rules were to "choose a toon and basically create a costume emulating one of the characters from in the game.  Perhaps your Goblin will put on his best Scorpion or Sub-Zero costume…perhaps your Night Elf will grab a fan and look like Princess Kitana.  The choice is yours and any character is fair game.  Speaking of which, the full list can be found here.  As is the norm, the outfit must be a proper endgame Mog."

I based this particular outfit on Jade. ~
